Operator Agreement
The terms under which safari businesses use the Safari Suite operator tools and appear on the marketplace. This sits on top of the general Terms of Use.
Last updated: 17 August 2026
1. Eligibility & verification
To be listed on the marketplace, an operator must be a genuinely operating safari business: legally registered where it operates, holding the licenses its activities require (tour operator licensing, park access, vehicle and guide certifications), and insured to the standard its market requires. We verify what we reasonably can and may request evidence at any time. "Verified" on the marketplace means our checks passed — it is not a guarantee we make to travelers on your behalf.
2. Listings & pricing honesty
Everything in your listings must be true: itineraries you actually run, lodges you actually book, photos that honestly represent the experience, and prices computed from rate sheets you keep current. Bait pricing — advertising a price you do not intend to honor — is grounds for immediate delisting. If a park authority changes fees, update your rate sheets; the platform recomputes affected quotes automatically.
3. Leads & traveler data
Traveler inquiries delivered to you are for responding to that traveler about that trip. You must not: add inquirers to marketing lists without their consent, resell or share their details, or contact them to move the transaction off-platform to avoid fees. You are an independent controller of traveler data you receive and must protect it at least as carefully as our Privacy Policy promises, and delete it when no longer needed.
4. Service standards
Marketplace placement rewards responsiveness and delivery. You commit to: responding to inquiries within your stated response time; honoring confirmed bookings at the confirmed price; providing the safety standards your itineraries imply (roadworthy vehicles, qualified guides, functioning communications in the field); and handling problems on trip professionally. Repeated failure against these standards affects your trust score and can lead to delisting.
5. Reviews & ratings
Travelers may review you after their trip. You may respond publicly, once, professionally. You may not: review yourself, have staff or friends pose as travelers, offer incentives for positive reviews, or pressure travelers to remove honest negative ones. Moderation decisions (publish / reject) are made by the platform, not by operators — including for your competitors.
6. Fees & payments
Platform fees are stated on your plan and invoiced transparently. Where traveler payments flow through the platform, we remit to your registered payout details net of fees, with a reconciliation record. Keeping your payout details current is your responsibility — we pay the details on file. Taxes on your safari revenue are yours.
7. Branding & content
You grant us a license to display your name, logo, photos, and itineraries on the marketplace and in platform marketing while you are listed. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload (including photographer permissions). The shared content library (park descriptions, imagery) is licensed for use inside the platform and your proposals made with it — not for extraction into other products.
8. Suspension & delisting
We may suspend or delist an operator for: breach of this agreement, credible safety concerns, verified fraud, sustained unresponsiveness, or legal necessity. Where the issue is fixable we will say what needs fixing first. Delisting does not cancel your obligations to travelers with confirmed bookings. You may leave the marketplace at any time; your software subscription is governed by your plan terms.
9. Responsibility & indemnity
You are solely responsible for the trips you sell and operate. You indemnify Safari Suite against claims arising from your trips, your listings, or your handling of traveler data, except to the extent we caused the loss. Both sides' liability is otherwise limited as in the Terms of Use.
